YET HE FORGAVE ME

Ø  I was that voice that shouted in the crowd “crucify Him” yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was that man who denied Him three times yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was that man who led a host of army to where He was, kissed Him and identified Him to the army to be arrested yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who ordered for His crucifixion yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who mocked him and spit on Him yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who made false accusation against Him yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who crafted the wooden cross that He was crucified on yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who gave Him a lashing of all time, 40 in total, yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who stripe Him naked before men, women and children yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who drove nails through His hands and feet yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who placed a crown of thorn on His head yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was that thief who mocked Him on the cross yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who pierced Him with a sword yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who placed a mocking sign on His head yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who offered him vinegar when He asked for water yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one who cast the lot so that we could divide His garment yet He forgave me.
Ø  I was the one paid to give false account on His resurrection yet He forgave me.

It is so amazing that the one I despised, rejected and I craved for His blood would forgive me, that when I was lost in sin and deserved to die, took my place and exchanged it for life and freedom, dying a death of shame on the cross. He merited me what I did not deserve. Made me into a person of whom I was not supposed to be. Took my ashes for beauty and made me a co-heir with Him. If I did all these YET HE FORGAVE ME, how about you who thinks that you are far lost in sin, that your damage is beyond repair? Isaiah 1:18..come, let us reason together, says the Lord, even if your sins are as red as scarlet I will make you as white as snow. An invitation has been made to you and to me, COME!! come to the brook that never run dry, come to the bread of life, come and drink the waters of life, come to the shelter rock, come to the firm foundation, come to the chief designer of life, come to the tree of life, come to the river of life, COME JUST AS YOU ARE FOR HE WILL FORGIVE YOU!!

HOW DID GOD FEEL

  1. When Joseph refused to go to bed with Portifa's wife yet she had beauty to be admired
  2. When David refused to kill Saul, yet he had the opportunity, because he considered him anointed of God
  3. When the three Hebrews boys refused to bow to the gods of Nebuchadnezzar and chose the fire instead
  4. When Daniel chose the den of hungry lion instead of bowing to the idols of king Darius
  5. When Job refused to curse God so that he would die
  6. When Abraham agreed to leave his people to the land that he did not know
  7. When Abraham against all odds laid upon the alter, Isaac, the supposed son of inheritance
  8. when Jesus chose the path of shame, mock and afflictions to bear the burdens of those who never deserved, yet He had a royalty and a throne and a crown of kingship
  9. When the apostles of the early church chose the wild beast, swords, fire, hard labor, boiling oil, exile.... at the expense of the gospel
  10. What more can we say of the early reformist like John Wesley, Martin Luther defied the papacy rules and oppressions to live the word of God?
How do you think God feels when He looks at you?
